The 14th ITS Asia-Pacific Conference (ITS Kyoto 2017) will be held from June 24 to 27, 2017 in Kyoto, Japan http://itskyoto2017.org/
Kyoto, the home of 17 UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites and over 2,000 temples and shrines, brings 1,200 years of history, traditional architecture, beautiful nature and a culture of warm hospitality. Kyoto is also an academic city with many universities and research institutes. Nine of the 25 Japanese Nobel laureates studied at Kyoto University. Long a proponent of academic diversity, Kyoto established Japan’s first western-style elementary schools in 1869. Kyoto is also home to innovative companies such as Nintendo. The conference will take place at the Kyoto International Conference Center among spacious surroundings in a natural environment.
The theme of the conference is “Mapping ICT into Transformation for the Next Information Society.” ITS Kyoto 2017 inherits the innovative tradition of Kyoto and aims at discovering how the world can transform and construct a new paradigm of the knowledge-based society through ICT by discussions among global experts. A detailed Call for Papers will be distributed by the end of November 2016. Abstract submission will begin in January 2017, with a deadline of February 20, 2017.
