This Master is focused in forming profesionals in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. The Master is structured in four main modules:
1) Core topics in Computational Biology and Data Science (including Artifitial Intelligence tools).
2) Intensification topics in Computational and Systems Biology and Genomics.
3) Intensification topics in “Big” Data Science.
Module 1 is mandatory for every student participating in the Master, whereas students can choose their area of specialization by selecting among the topics offered in modules 2 and 3. This theorical formation encompases one semester. Module 4 encompases the second semester of the Master and consist on an internship in a reserach institute or company, where students should complete a Master Thesis. If your don´t have a background in Computational Biology but you are interested in expanding your formation in this area, this Master is also for you. We offer an additional one-semester basic formation in Biology and Computational Sciences that will prepare you for accessing modules 1 to 4.
