PhD in Information and Communication Technologies: Materials and Devices
The aim of the doctorate program on “Information and Communication Technologies: Materials and Devices” is to enable future doctors to carry out an outstanding researchwork in basic science, technological development and innovation in the field of materials,devices and systems of interest for “Information and Communication Technologies.”The specific objectives of the program are:
To provide the student with the “state of the art” knowledge about the new technologies in the field of the “Information and Communication Technologies.”
To provide the student with a sound methodology basis to undertake research and development challenges.
To promote the interactions between doctoral students and the researchers of the different groups involved in the program.
To promote the contact of the doctoral students with active research and development groups in the field of the Information and Communications Technologies, either Spanish or international.
There are three main research lines: Materials for high frequency devices, Advanced photonic and electroacoustic devices and Systems and components for communications.
