PROJECT DESCRIPTION | The main goal of the PhD Program in Project Planning for Rural Development and Sustainable Management is train researchers who can be responsible for APPLIED RESEARCH processes in the field of rural/local development and sustainable management. The program is open to graduates from any country, it has an interdisciplinary and international scope thus, it constitutes a strategic instrument for the development and sustainability of rural areas worldwide, especially in developing countries. |
RESEARCH GROUP DESCRIPTION | The alumni of the doctorate program are working in international organisations such as the FAO and in relevant universities in Spain and Latin America (Perú, Ecuador or Mexico) in the management of research and social programs, or in relevant positions in the Ministries of Agriculture in Perú and Ecuador whose work impacts directly in the rural areas. |
